Fall has arrived in the South

Well we went Apple Picking this weekend and that makes it official in my mind that its Fall. I do love the fresh apples from the trees. The gas shortage and prices didnt keep people away as it was still very crowded and you had to climb the trees to get the apples up high. BUT the children didnt mind that. They enjoyed it. The weather was great too.

We then went up to Asheville to the Fiddling Pig Barbecue restuarant and enjoyed some good "grub, Blue grass music and cloggers." It was alot of fun. The food was good and the entertainment was better.
Please be praying for a little girl who at this very moment is fighting for her life. She has a heart condition and had surgery today and has a long uphill battle. Check out her caringbridge website and leave a message of encouragement and pray for her. http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/graciejeanlockyer
Have a great and blessed rest of the week.
Love Jen and Family

I checked out the site for Gracie and I see that she went to be in Heaven with Jesus this morning. So sad for this family, but finally little Gracie is healed. So glad that they appear to hold firmly to their faith and they know they'll see her again one day...
