The Perry Petting Zoo

Just thought I would share our pets with you.....This is Jacob's hermit crab....he got him/her in January after waiting patiently. We actually now have two...Jessica wanted one. They are fascinating creatures.

This is our newest member..."Cupcake" the hamster. Jessica bought her with her allowance. She is fun to watch and play. Interesting is that she doesn't like to run IN her wheel but rather on TOP of it. Today I put her in her ball so I could clean her cage and I had trouble finding her. She made it all the way to my bathroom from Jessica's room. Very smart.

On the right is Jacob's guinea pig...Mr.
Guinea. He got him for his 6th
birthday. So he is 2 years old. He is
calmer then Cupcake and does like to
be held and hand fed a carrot or
lettuce. He also "talks" more and
when you open the refrig he can hear
it all the way into the kitchen and he
squeaks really loudly wanting a
"treat".

This is Bailey. Our first baby. She will be 12 years old this year. She is very loving and wants to be around people at all times. Jessica and Jacob enjoy hugging on her and snuggling with her on the floor. She gets very excited when it comes meal time, treat or a walk.

Last but not least this is Jacob's "Beta Fish." We actually have two. Jacob has one and Jess has one also. Not sure of their names but Jacob gets very excited to see them swimming around.

Well that's about it for the Perry Petting Zoo. That's enough animals for us. Mark said no more.....It is fun to see the children playing with them.
I just got finished cleaning all the cages for the day......yippee.

If anyone wants to come buy and check out the Perry Zoo, feel free to come on by. We are open M-F 8-5. Admission is Free. Love to have ya.

God Bless,
The Perry Family.

NOT ME MONDAY

Well I am going to try it again....being challenged by MckMama.....

I did NOT wait this long to finally write on my blog........
I did NOT spend 45 dollars on my daughter for her to get a hamster and then I did NOT spend another 35 dollars because the hamster DID NOT escape from the first cage (within 10 mins of putting her in there) - NOT me. I am NOT a sucker for my children's happiness.
I did NOT agree to get a hamster when we do NOT already have 2 beta fish, 2 hermit crabs, 1 guinea pig and 1 dog. No we are NOT calling ourselves the Perry Petting Zoo.
I did NOT let my children sleep on the floor in my daughters room next to the hamster we did not get.
I did NOTtell my children that they had school today even though they do NOT hoping they would sleep in.....and they did NOT wake up at 6 AM and come in and ask me what time it is. I did NOT yell at them and tell them to go back to bed.

My daughter did NOT stay up till 10:30 pm so she could watch her new hamster that she did NOT get named Cupcake.

Well to finish....I am NOT praying that we get snow tonight for another day off.

God Bless,

-Jen and Family
